I completely forgot about it until I saw this charge on my card. After Googling it, I found this awesome site full of other people who got shafted and immediately filed a claim with my credit card. Introductory membership rates are valid only for your first year, and renews at the standard low price.</blockquote> I think the tactic you'd have to pursue is due to the lack of a renewal notice. It doesn't seem like Visa / MC / AmEx rules allow them to charge you for something without an invoice. I then Google-searched 8009019207 and this article showed. I don't remember authorizing the store for this charge for a running shoe purchase I made last year.
